AllPoints Ally — Privacy Policy

AllPoints Ally ("the extension") is provided by AllPoints FPS for its customers. It shows your AllPoints account pricing and availability for the part you're viewing on supported parts-retailer websites, lets you add the matching AllPoints part to your cart and check out at a matched price, and can compare a past order against AllPoints pricing.

What it accesses

• On supported parts-retailer sites — partstown.com, pizzaparts.com, rhsparts.com, cashparts.com, and globalcommercialparts.com (and their www variants) — it reads the part number and price on the page you are viewing, to find and show the equivalent AllPoints part, price, and stock.
• On your PartsTown account order pages, it reads the parts, quantities, and prices in the order you are viewing to show what that order would have cost at AllPoints.
• Your existing logged-in session at allpointsfps.com and search.allpointsfps.com, to retrieve your account-specific price and availability and to build your matched cart. It never asks for, sees, or stores your password.

What it records (for AllPoints)

When you use the extension while signed in, AllPoints records:

• Each part lookup, with the AllPoints price, the retailer's price, stock status, the action you take (view, add to cart, price-match request), and your account identity (name, email, AllPoints customer number).
• For an order comparison, a summary of the comparison — the PartsTown order number, how many items matched, the PartsTown and AllPoints subtotals and the difference, and your account identity.

AllPoints uses this information to operate the price-match and comparison features, respond to your requests, improve its pricing and product assortment, and analyze how the tool influences purchases across its sales channels.

Where the data goes

Records are sent to the extension's backend — a Supabase service and a Google Apps Script — and are stored and analyzed in AllPoints' own systems (Supabase, AllPoints' analytics environment (Databricks), and Google Workspace / Google Sheets). These providers process the data on AllPoints' behalf and under its instructions. Your matched-cart contents and display preferences are stored only locally in your browser and are not sent anywhere.

What it does NOT do

• It does not collect or store your password.
• It does not sell your data, and does not share it with anyone other than AllPoints and the service providers acting on AllPoints' behalf.
• It does not track your browsing on websites other than those listed above.

Data retention

AllPoints retains these usage records for up to 24 months, and deletes or de-identifies them when they are no longer needed.
